DESCRIPTION:
xxxx Dakota that has 145,300 miles with a 4.7L V-8. The bad: Rust on the body, but the fram is solid. I put on a new front bumper with a bull bar, to protect the lower part of the radiator. Passenger side window off track, I tried rolling down the window during the winter. I just havent had time to repair. There is some play in the steering wheel, but the issue is where the steering wheel is connected to the column. I have drove with this issue for the past year. It has an exhaust leak where the manifold & Y-pipe connect. Its drivable but very loud. It wont pass e-check unless the leak is fixed. Had to drill out a lug nut/stud on the front passenger side wheel because the place I got the tries from cross threaded the lug nut. This was drilled out when replacing the upper ball joint. It still has 5 lug nuts holding the tire on, so it isnt going anywhere. The good: I put in a new battery last month. I put over $500 of brand new firestone A/T tires on last year and they only have around 10,000 miles on them. I put in a used transfer casing from LKQ, that only had 20,000 miles on it, around 115,000 miles. New fuel pump at 110,000 miles and a new crankshaft sensor. I replaced the pump because I thought it was bad, but it turned out it was just the crankshaft sensor. The muffler is only 1 year old. When it frist started getting loud I thought that was the issue so I welded a new one on. Upper and lower ball joints on the driver side at 135,000 miles. Also the upper ball joints on the passenger side. Repaired rear struts summer of xxxx. The hardware that holds the struts in place broke, so all new hardware on both side. It has a tow hitch and trailer plug in. Its been a pretty good truck for me all in all. Winters in Northeast Ohio can be rough but Ive never had a problem getting around in my dakota. Its also been a good towing truck, Ive towed a 2,000lbs trailer with a 4,000lbs car on it. Any questions just ask. Make an offer!!!!!
