My name is Beagsley, I'm a Beagle! I'm a very good boy, and very cute. On my walks outside I'm interested in meeting other dogs. I love belly rubs and just laying with you, because I'm old and I shouldn't be here. Hey, you may as well know it up front ... I'm a nervous and concerned dog that lacks a bit of confidence. You see ... I was once in a house - and use to a couch and people always being there. No middle aged dog should have to find themselves in a shelter in their "golden days" and that is where I am! Please don't think of putting me in a cage for 10 hours a day because that just won't work - not for you or for me. And, please don't chain me up to live outside for my lifetime because that kind of life is not in my plans. Keep in mind, I am a social animal - all dogs are - and that would lead to a very lonely existence! So let's find some balls, figure out a walking route, check out a few dog parks, and begin our life together. Just because I'm older doesn't mean we can have full life of love and friendship!
