Hello ladies and (some) gents! Ok, so I may not be welcoming to everyone when I first meet them, but can you blame me? Ive been through a lot in my short life and it havent had many good experiences with people until I came to live at One of a Kind. To make a long story short, I somehow ended up at a pound pregnant, with half of my ear cut off (Ouch!). Now that I am in a safe place, Im learning to trust new people more everyday. I love all of the staff members here and I am enjoying meeting the volunteers that take me on long walks or runs! I am very playful and would love for you to come visit me and so we could play ball all day!, or just cuddle, whichever you like! Because of my broken past, I dont have any experience (well, at least not any good ones) with other animals, so I would prefer that we start our lives together with me as the only child. I swear I am a great dog, and I know the staff here will back me up on that! While I usually prefer the company of women, that doesnt mean I cant learn to trust and love a man as well, though it may take some time.
