Selling two collectible Hand-carved Wood African Women Heads at a fair fixed price.
I acquired the two heads from a small African art shop in Rimini, Italy back in xxxx while on vacation. I bought them for tens of thousand Lire or about $100 US Dollars. I am offering them at a price equal to what I paid for them almost 43 years ago. No extra charge for transporting them from Rimini, Italy to Fairlawn, Ohio.
I know almost nothing about them. Don't know what kind of wood, where it was done, when it was done, or who did the carving. Each head is about 9 1/2 inches tall. The one with the smaller/narrower base weighs 1 lb 4.1 oz and while the one with the larger/wider base weighs 1 lb 8.6 oz. There are no markings or symbols or other identification on either carving. A medium-level, 30-minute search on The Google to find the name or address of the art shop in Rimini was not successful.
